These Terms govern your use of byteglean.com (the “Site”) and the free live demo. By using the Site you agree to them. Paid engagements are governed by a separate written agreement; these Terms cover the Site and demo only. Contact: [email protected].

The service

The Site provides information about ByteGlean and a free “try-it” demo that fetches and parses a public web page you submit and returns a small sample. The demo is provided for evaluation purposes only.

Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the URLs and tasks you submit. By submitting a URL you represent and warrant that:

• you have the right to access and extract data from that page;
• your use complies with the target site’s terms and with applicable law; and
• you will not submit URLs pointing to content that is unlawful, behind a login or paywall you are not authorized to access, or that you are otherwise not permitted to retrieve.

You will not use the demo or the Site to access data you are not authorized to access, to circumvent authentication or access controls, to collect personal data unlawfully, to infringe intellectual property, or to overload, disrupt, or abuse the Site or any third party. No warranty

The Site and demo are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or availability of any result. We may rate-limit, modify, or discontinue the demo at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteGlean will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or demo or from data you obtain through them. Our total liability arising from the free Site and demo will not exceed USD 100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ByteGlean harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your misuse of the Site or demo, the URLs or targets you submit, or your breach of these Terms.

Engagements

Paid data, automation, and development work is provided under a separate written agreement or statement of work, which governs deliverables, ownership, and payment. Unless agreed otherwise, you own the code and data we deliver to you.

Intellectual property

Site content and branding are owned by ByteGlean. You retain ownership of the content you submit.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at ByteGlean’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Set your governing jurisdiction here before publishing.]

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
