Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
ByteGlean (“ByteGlean”, “we”, “us”) operates byteglean.com (the “Site”) and provides data extraction, automation, and MCP development services. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or the live demo, we receive what you submit — your email address, the target URL or task you describe, and any message you include.
- Live demo input. The URL you submit to the demo is sent to our edge function solely to fetch and parse that page and return a sample to you. We do not use it to build profiles, and we do not retain submitted URLs beyond transient processing and short-lived security logs.
- Technical logs. Like any website, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data — IP address, user-agent, and timestamps — to deliver the Site and prevent abuse.
- Cookies. We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies (if any) are used to operate the Site.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiries, to provide and secure the live demo and the Site, to prevent abuse, and to deliver services you engage us for. Where required, our legal bases are your consent (when you contact us) and our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site).
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) that handle data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and edge functions) and our form and email providers (to receive and reply to your messages). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Retention
We keep contact information only as long as needed to respond to and manage our relationship with you, then delete it. Demo URLs are not retained beyond transient processing and short security logs.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
International processing
Our infrastructure operates on a global network; your data may be processed in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.
Children
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
